I don’t think that I am a veracious blogger and almost 95% of people who are living on their blog Income actually are not the bloggers, they are just businessmen.
A blogger is the person who blogs about a particular topic and find and explore each and everything about that, but now a day’s most of the bloggers only explore money making opportunities in blogging, it doesn’t matter that they are interested to that niche or not, if that niche gives them good return they start working on it, they hire people for each and every task, like content writing, Commenting and Sharing.
I accept the truth that I am not a blogger, I am running many blogs only to earn money but I never hire someone to write articles, I love to write what I know and this is also a truth that I am not earning a single Penny from Geek Blog Tips, I created this blog only to help other bloggers and to explore more about Blogging, but very soon I have to monetize this blog to pay my bills.
I am a big fan of Amit Aggarwal (Labnol.org), because that person blogs only for his readers and followers, his articles are really helpful for everyone and I am trying to write on my tech blog Like Amit Aggarwal.

It can prove that you are not a Blogger, you are a Businessman.
Accepting Paid Post
Accepting Paid post is not a bad Idea but if you are accepting only for few dollars then it proves that you are not a blogger, you just want to earn money, because a true blogger always share those things which helps readers of blogs and if you publish paid post which is not helpful for your readers then your post is not going to help your readers and your readers will not give their love in return, you can in many blogs that paid posts gets less share and Comments.
Buying Selling blogs
Many people are doing the business of buying and selling blogs, they write a few posts and sell the blogs but they are not bloggers they are business men blogger should never do such kind of things, if you buy and sell blogs then nobody will trust your words.
So better call yourself a Businessman not a Blogger if you do such kind of business.
Hiring People for work
If you have many blogs and you hire people for writing content, for sharing content on social sites and for commenting, then you are a businessman not a blogger.
You can have many blogs but if you are hiring for work then this is not the blogger’s ways.
There are many other points which also prove that you are not a blogger like, if you focus on list building and link building, you write guest posts for link juice.
I know many of you are doing these things but this is the truth that we are not Bloggers we are just doing business.
Many people think that if you are earning thousands of Dollars then you are a pro blogger, but it’s not true, a pro blogger is the person who brings new ideas and always help to their readers with his skills and knowledge.
Most of the blogger will not agree with my points and they will justify their own definition of blogging and many bloggers think that all these things are the part of blogging.

Agree with you 100%! Bloggers are no more bloggers now. They are turning businessman. We should try to write to educate people, not get money!

Right we should write which help people, but most of people write to create content only, thats why they hire people for writing work, and you will find many bloggers are writing for only 2,3 dollars, I don’t think that you will get quality and correct info in that cheap articles..

Very well written Nishant. How can we call the one a blogger if he does nothing? Even he doesn’t write. He hires writers to write on his blog. Yes, I agree that when you’re very busy you can hire writers, but I will never the one a blogger who buy content and posts it with his name every day. They are not the ones for this blogosphere. I believe that, only because of them our blogging world is degradding day by day. The one who has zero subscribers writes how to get 1K subscribers in 1 month. WTF?

Yes Nishant, I totally agree with you. There are very few bloggers who are actually BLOGGERS. Most of the bloggers just want to earn money through their blogs (which is not a bad thing). But, they should accept the truth that they are not bloggers but they are businessman and there is nothing wrong in calling yourself a businessman.

I agree that earning is important to run a blog, but if you earn with genuine ways then its fine, but if you accept stupid paid post which are not going to help your readers or which mislead with its information then you are not doing good with your readers, your readers trust your words and what you write it means a lot for your readers..

Because of these bloggers so many are asking me how much money do I make from my blog and and they also advice me by asking why don’t you make huge money from your blog. Everyone must agree with the points mentioned in this wonderful post. Earlier there were limited bloggers and they love to blog their ideas and thoughts in a manner to help the readers. But now blogging became a part of online money making source especially the paid posts, selling backlinks are ruining the blogs fame. At this moment I have to say that I too accepted a few paid posts for sake of my bills and maintenance costs. Then I observed fall of traffic and readers comments. Here one thing we need to think is why will the readers comment on the blog posts when there is nonsense stuff in it? The paid post owners just need a link to their respective site and they simply fill the post with some shit which is not at all useful.
So, as you said those who blogs ONLY to earn are only the businessman and they should not be termed as bloggers.
